RMC Ontario Champions Crowned

After a fantastic summer filled with five action-packed races, the inaugural season of the RMC Ontario Championship has come to a close, and we are thrilled to announce our champions. The competition was fierce across all categories, but in the end, three drivers emerged as the best of the best. Let’s take a moment to celebrate their incredible achievements.

Mini Max Champion: Leo DaSilva

In the Mini Max category, it was Leo DaSilva who dominated the field all season long, clinching the championship with an impressive 248-point margin. Leo’s season was nothing short of spectacular, with three race wins, a third-place finish, and a fourth-place result at the Canadian Karting Championship. His consistent performances allowed him to cruise to victory in the RMC Ontario Mini Max Championship.

For his outstanding efforts, Leo was awarded free entry to the 2025 RMC Ontario season, along with a set of Mojo Tires and XPS Rotax Oil. Congratulations, Leo, on a stellar season! Your future in karting looks incredibly bright.

Junior Max Champion: Cole Medeiros

In the Junior Max category, Cole Medeiros secured the championship with an 80-point lead, showcasing his skill and determination throughout the season. Cole’s consistent top performances were the key to his success, culminating in a first-place finish at the Canadian Karting Championship, which sealed his championship victory.

For his triumph, Cole was awarded one of the most coveted prizes in karting: a ticket to the Rotax Grand Finals. This prestigious event will take place in Sarno, Italy, and Cole will proudly represent Team Canada. We wish him the best of luck as he takes on the world’s best at the Grand Finals.

Senior Max Champion: Arnaud Sabourin

The battle for the Senior Max title was one of the most intense of the season, with the top three drivers separated by just five points. In the end, it was Arnaud Sabourin who emerged victorious, clinching the championship after a strong and consistent campaign.

Arnaud’s reward for his hard-fought victory is a ticket to the Rotax Grand Finals, where he will join Team Canada alongside Cole. We will be watching closely as our RMC Ontario champions take on international competition, and we wish them all the success in Sarno.

Looking Ahead

As we close the chapter on this remarkable first season, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the racers, teams, families, and supporters who made the RMC Ontario Championship such a success. The level of competition and sportsmanship was outstanding, and we are already looking forward to what Season 2 will bring.

Stay tuned for announcements about the upcoming season—we have big plans to make it even more exciting and competitive. Until then, congratulations once again to our champions, and best of luck as you take on the world stage!
