The wait is almost over — Round 1 of RMC Ontario is fast approaching, and with so much information shared over the past few months across social media, we thought it would be a good idea to compile everything in one place for competitors, teams, and families ahead of the season opener.
Four Classes Eligible for RMC Grand Finals Tickets
For the 2026 season, RMC Ontario continues to grow with four championship classes, all eligible to compete for coveted Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals tickets:
- Mini-Max
- Junior-Max
- Senior-Max
- DD2
For the first time ever, DD2 joins the RMC Ontario championship lineup, and we cannot wait to see these drivers and machines take to the track this season.
Round 1 Giveaway — Free RMC Ontario Backpack
RMC Ontario has become known for its event giveaways, and 2026 will be no different.
Drivers who complete their registration online ahead of Round 1 will receive a free RMC Ontario backpack while supplies last.

ASN Karting License Required
A valid ASN Karting License is required for all competitors at every RMC Ontario round in 2026.
If you have not yet applied for your license, we strongly recommend doing so as soon as possible.

Mini-Max Regulations
For 2026, all Mini-Max competitors will compete using the mandatory custom 73T fixed sprocket supplied by REV Performance Materials.
Additionally, all Mini-Max exhaust pipes will be inspected and sealed during Friday practice.
Parc Fermé Procedures
Parc Fermé will be in effect for both race tires and fuel throughout the event weekend.
Please pay close attention to the race schedule for your class opening times and procedures.
We kindly ask that following your session, competitors complete their Parc Fermé procedures efficiently and exit the area before the next class arrives. There is plenty of time to complete the process properly without rushing, but we do ask that teams avoid crowding the area unnecessarily so operations can continue smoothly.

Supplementary Regulations Published
The official supplementary regulations for the 2026 RMC Ontario season have now been published online.
All competitors, teams, and families are strongly encouraged to review the regulations prior to arriving at the track to ensure they are familiar with event procedures, technical regulations, sporting rules, and weekend operations.

Chassis Tags Required
Chassis tags will be provided with your registration package and will be required to be installed on your kart for the entire event.
Practice & Race Schedule
The full Round 1 race schedule can be found below. Practice is available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and can be booked through Hamilton Karting Complex. Friday is the official RMC Ontario practice day and will follow the below schedule. Wednesday and Thursday will be operated by Hamilton Karting Complex and schedule will be determined based on number of karts on track.
